We start by identifying your 10 closest online competitors based on existing search engine footprint, keyword overlap, and product or service offerings. We use a mix of some of the latest, most advanced keyword tools.
We do this to compile what we call your keyword universe; a comprehensive snapshot in time of all the search terms that are relevant to your website and business.
The next step is for our web crawlers to scrape the first page of Google’s search results for every URL ranking for each term included in your term universe. We then go to each and every one of those pages and scrape all the meta attributes, content, page structure, and correlate this against the site and individual URL’s link profiles.
We now have a baseline of signaling data including keyword usage, word count, intent, content sentiment, link profile, trust score, and a handful of other computed metrics at the page level.
