We come to work everyday because we like to create things that weren’t there the day before.
Creations don’t have to be huge, wondrous things. Sometimes creations are simply good ideas, solutions to problems, or small improvements to the way we work. Often, these pieces make a whole, a new entity entirely — something that didn’t exist the day before.
To fix the broken, boring, and ineffective strategies being peddled by the run of the mill digital agencies.
The same is true for the way we work
We’ve found that if you put a bunch of curious, creative, intelligent, driven, and spirited people together in the same place, a distinct connectivity arises.
That connectivity is why we’re a team, not just a group of people in the same place working themselves into different directions. Again, the pieces make a whole.

A lot of agencies will talk about data-driven solutions, and to a point we agree—everything we deliver will be actionable and data-backed. But that’s not all it should be.

Our industry changes everyday, but a huge focus for our team is taking aim on where the target will move to instead of where it is now. Our team takes time to research and has license to develop new approaches as the opportunities come up.

We work with clients who have a proven track record of success or a high level of sophistication. They’re proud of what they’ve built, and there’s no reason anything should be torn down. Sometimes the foundation just needs to be stabilized.
It’s not about reinventing the wheel, but building an engine that makes it turn.

How we got to the Future
We actually landed here by mistake.
Nick Eubanks, our Founder, created and sold digital products before I’m From The Future existed. On one of his websites the copyright date in the footer was hard-coded and couldn’t be changed without an overhaul. This was 2008, but the copyright was for 2045. We realize this is ridiculous, but it was an old legacy CMS and well, this was the situation.
He thought if he couldn’t fix it, he’d lend it some context.
When 2014 rolled around and Nick’s product and consulting business had grown into a real business, he needed something to call it.
I’m From The Future was a natural choice.
